Huawei and Bittel Unveil Xinghe AI SafeStay Hotel Network at MWC Barcelona
Huawei and Bittel debut Xinghe AI SafeStay, a Wi-Fi 7 campus network for hotels with dual 10 Gbps, AI IoT control, 20% energy savings, and plug‑and‑play deployment at MWC Barcelona.
At MWC Barcelona 2026, Huawei and Shandong Bittel Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. unveiled the Xinghe AI SafeStay Hotel Campus Network Solution, designed to power hotel campuses with cutting-edge AirEngine Wi-Fi 7 technology. The system delivers dual 10 Gbps access for both wired and wireless connections, ensuring fast, reliable connectivity across guest rooms, common areas, and back-office operations.
A core feature is an innovative smart IoT control system that enables seamless temperature adjustments for guests while driving energy efficiency; the solution reportedly reduces energy consumption by 20%. In addition, 24/7 security is integrated to help keep guests safe and provide peace of mind throughout their stay. The model is tailor-made for hotels and offers a ready-to-deploy configuration where devices are plug-and-play, simplifying installation and debugging and accelerating service deployment.
The collaboration draws on a long-standing partnership that began in 2020 and combines Huawei’s Wi-Fi 7 technology with Bittel’s system integration expertise. The approach eliminates the need for extra equipment such as infrared sensors and mmWave radars, while leveraging Huawei’s AP features to deliver smooth, AI-driven solutions that enhance spatial intelligence within hotel spaces.
This joint solution positions Huawei and Bittel at the forefront of hospitality tech, signaling a broader push toward AI-powered, secure, and highly connected hotels. Looking ahead, the partners say they will continue to innovate to accelerate digital transformation across the hospitality industry and beyond.
