"Welcome to the Jungle" Roars at Box Office: Eyes ₹90 Cr Week 1!

Welcome to the Jungle," the latest multi-starrer comedy featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal, is closing in on a successful first week at the box office. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film has shown a strong performance, particularly in its worldwide earnings.

After six days, the film's total India net collection has surpassed an impressive ₹87 crore. While Day 6 saw a slight dip in collections, garnering ₹6.15 crore, the overall trajectory points towards a healthy first week. Industry analysts predict that "Welcome to the Jungle" is poised to cross the ₹90 crore mark in its domestic net collections by the end of its opening week.

Globally, the film has already made significant strides, with its worldwide gross crossing a substantial ₹129 crore. This robust performance is putting the film on track to soon achieve the coveted ₹100 crore milestone in India, signaling a positive reception from audiences.

Interestingly, director Ahmed Khan had previously claimed the film's budget to be around ₹125 crore, which means the film is nearing its breakeven point or might even turn profitable soon, depending on distribution costs and other factors. As "Welcome to the Jungle" continues its theatrical run, it will soon face new competition with the upcoming release of "Alpha," starring Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, and Sharvari, set to open this Friday. The coming days will be crucial in determining its long-term box office success.
