Sitamarhi is a highlight, where the BJP has fielded Sunil Kumar Pintu, a top swing seat. He replaced sitting MLA Mithilesh Kumar. The seat’s loyalties flip between BJP and the RJD. The BJP has promised to build a grand temple dedicated to Goddess Sita.
In Bettiah, BJP's Renu Devi is contesting; she is the Minister for Animal and Fisheries Resources and is a prominent figure in the race.
