Infosys has announced definitive agreements to acquire Optimum Healthcare IT and Stratus, expanding its footprint in healthcare digital transformation and global insurance tech. The deals underscore Infosys’ push to accelerate AI-powered cloud, data and digital transformation for healthcare providers and insurers. Optimum Healthcare IT is a Best in KLAS-recognized provider known for helping provider organizations drive large-scale transformation, while Stratus is a leading insurance consulting technology firm specializing in AI-driven data transformation for global P&C insurers.
The acquisition of Optimum Healthcare IT will strengthen Infosys' presence in the provider segment, adding new clients, expanding technology capabilities, and creating synergies across Infosys Topaz AI, Infosys Cobalt cloud, cloud engineering, cybersecurity and application transformation. This aligns with Infosys’ strategy to offer end-to-end cloud, data and digital services to healthcare customers.
Stratus will bring AI-enabled data and digital transformation capabilities for global property and casualty insurers, enabling faster insights and modernization of underwriting, claims and customer experience. Together, these acquisitions position Infosys to scale its healthcare and insurance offerings and deliver measurable outcomes for clients through integrated platforms and services.
Infosys said the combination would accelerate end-to-end cloud, data and digital transformation at scale, leveraging Optimum’s provider experience with Infosys Topaz and Cobalt. The deals are expected to close subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions, reflecting Infosys’ ongoing growth strategy in healthcare and insurance technology.
