Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kerala this Saturday as part of the NDA’s Assembly election campaign. He is scheduled to address a public meeting in Thiruvalla and take part in a roadshow in Thiruvananthapuram. Modi will land at the NSS College grounds in Changanassery, Kottayam district, around 3 p.m. and travel by road to Thiruvalla, where a large crowd is expected at the public stadium. Senior BJP leaders will be on hand as NDA candidates from nearby constituencies gather ahead of the event.
In Thiruvalla, Modi is expected to address a substantial gathering while party leaders and NDA hopefuls look on. The program is designed to showcase a strong ground presence in a region critical to the state’s political map. After the Thiruvalla engagement, Modi will proceed to Thiruvananthapuram for a roadshow covering about 1.5 kilometres from Killipalam Junction to Karamana. The route is planned to draw a large turnout of party workers and supporters from across the district. Security and logistics teams are coordinating to manage crowds and traffic as campaigning intensifies ahead of Kerala’s April 9 polling.
From Thiruvananthapuram, Modi is expected to meet NDA candidates in the district before returning to Delhi in the evening. Kerala’s assembly polls have drawn intense interest as opposition and ruling alliances present their manifestos and focus on development, governance, and welfare schemes. The visit highlights Modi’s strategy of combining a high-profile rally with a visible roadshow to maximize reach across multiple corners of the state.
