Roan's Instagram Stories emphasized the need for representation that reflects artists' safety and dignity, saying that "Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity." She added, "As of today, I am no longer represented by Wasserman... I refuse to passively stand by." The message underscored her belief that meaningful industry change requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.
Wasserman issued a response as well, expressing regret for his past correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell from more than two decades ago and stressing that he never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. He said, "I deeply regret my correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell, which took place over two decades ago, long before her horrific crimes came to light. I never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein."
