NIA raids Kashmir in 'white-collar terror' module linked to Delhi blast
NIA raids eight Kashmir locations tied to a 'white-collar' terror module behind the Delhi Red Fort car bombing; investigation expands as searches continue.
The National Investigation Agency carried out eight raids across Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam districts in Kashmir on December 1, 2025, in connection with a 'white-collar' terror module blamed for the car bombing near Delhi's Red Fort that left 15 people dead and several others injured.
In Shopian, searches targeted the residence of Moulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagay, identified as the mastermind behind the module's radicalisation and recruitment. Wagay was arrested in October, and the NIA took over the probe last month.
Raids were also conducted in Koil, Chandgam, Malangpora and Samboora in Pulwama district, linking to people connected with the Delhi blast case.
The agency also searched the residence of Dr Adeel Ahmad Rather, who was arrested in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, in the first week of November.
Further details are awaited as investigators piece together the network's operations and its links to the Red Fort attack.
