Hyderabad's Boduppal case unfolds as a 45-year-old logistics manager is found dead after returning home on December 11. A 36-year-old wife initially claimed he collapsed in the washroom and died of a heart attack, but injuries on the cheek and neck did not fit a natural death.
CCTV footage and other technical evidence soon contradicted the washroom narrative. Police arrested the wife, her 22-year-old paramour, and a third accused, saying they conspired to kill him after he questioned their relationship. The crime took place at the couple’s residence in Boduppal, after the man returned from work. According to investigators, the second accused strangulated him using scarves while the wife held his legs. After the killing, they allegedly changed the story to a heart attack.
The victim worked as a logistics manager at a private university and was declared dead at Government Hospital in Malkajgiri. The case underscores how CCTV can crack what appears to be a natural death, with authorities continuing to gather evidence and question those involved.
Officials have not released all names yet but confirmed arrests and an ongoing inquiry. Investigations are expected to reveal further details as more evidence comes to light.
