Anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Infinity Castle has become the highest-grossing anime of all time, earning over USD 500 million worldwide according to the latest trade figures. The previous record for the highest-grossing anime film was held by its predecessor, Mugen Train, which also earned USD 500 million globally.
According to data from Box Office Mojo, the anime film has earned a total of USD 555 million worldwide. This includes USD 104.7 million from the US and Canada, and USD 450.3 million from international markets.
After its release in India on September 12, Infinity Castle made Rs 62.58 crore nett at the Indian box office within 10 days. Industry data tracker Sacnilk reports that Infinity Castle made Rs 53.4 crore nett in its first week. The second week started with a collection of Rs 1.75 crore nett on Friday. The anime film added Rs 7.3 crore nett over its second weekend. My brother exclaimed,

Before its release, Infinity Castle had the highest booking sales for an animated film in India. The film sold around 200,000 tickets before its theatrical debut in the country.
