Kemi Badenoch Slams 'Dishonest' Reform Defectors, Nixes Future Deals! 🇬🇧
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch unleashes a fiery attack on Reform UK defectors, calling them "dishonest" and firmly ruling out any future political deals with Nigel Farage's party. Don't miss her strong words!
Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch has made it unequivocally clear that there will be no political deals with Reform UK following the next general election. Furthermore, she stated that politicians who have defected from the Tories to Nigel Farage’s party will not be welcomed back into the Conservative fold.
Speaking at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Mrs. Badenoch launched a sharp critique against Reform UK, particularly targeting those who left her party. She branded these defectors as “some of the most dishonest people I have ever met in my entire life.” This strong declaration comes as the political landscape heats up in anticipation of the upcoming general election.
Mrs. Badenoch emphasized her preference for going back to the country for another election, even in the event of a hung parliament, rather than forming a “monstrous Reform/Conservative hybrid” government at Westminster. Her stance firmly rules out any prospect of an election deal with Mr. Farage’s party, highlighting a deep ideological and personal rift.
She also took aim at Nigel Farage himself, describing his policies as inconsistent and dictated by whim. “Nigel Farage dictates what he wants depending on what he had for breakfast that day. They are all over the place, they announce one policy, they forget it the next day,” she asserted. The Tory leader stressed her ambition to “win on my own terms” at the next general election, underscoring a desire for a clear Conservative mandate. She also warned that the country would be in a “pretty bad place” if the Conservatives fail to form the next government.
