After 28 years as a weather presenter, Carol Kirkwood has retired from the BBC and signed off with an emotional final weather update on BBC Breakfast. The three-hour send-off featured surprise celebrity cameos, a poem from Brian Cox, and a lighthearted reunion with the dog that famously yanked her off screen in 2021.
Kirkwood, 63, fought back tears as she thanked viewers for letting her be part of their lives across nearly three decades.
