Layer Cake is a Daniel Craig (the latest 007 from Casino Royale) starer who's a part of the drug supply chain racket. He's a very smooth and successful operator who wants is way out of the business when he's at the top of his career. The movie is all about mafia, drugs, fraud, loyalty, brutality and all the things that you expect from such a kind of movie.
The movie is British which I find cooler than American flicks.. and I consider Daniel Craig as the coolest actor of this decade. My high expectations from this film were completely met. The story line and narration of this movie is brilliant. Overall its a very good package and justifies why Craig became the new 007.
