The legal move comes as the former couple’s twins, Zoe and Thomas, reach a major milestone: high school graduation. According to court documents, Quaid has been paying approximately $13,750 per month in support. However, the original 2018 divorce settlement included a specific clause allowing these payments to cease once the children completed the 12th grade. With the twins set to graduate on June 3, Quaid is asking the court to honor those terms.

Beyond the base monthly payments, Quaid is also addressing potential bonuses. Under the current agreement, he is required to pay additional amounts to Buffington if his annual income exceeds $1,314,000. In his recent filing, he requested that any bonus owed for the 2026 fiscal year be prorated based on the twins' actual graduation dates, rather than calculated against his entire yearly earnings.
