Paul McCartney has teamed up with Ringo Starr for their first-ever duet, 'Home to Us,' a track on McCartney's upcoming album The Boys of Dungeon Lane. The project reveals how a creative clash with producer Andrew Watt gave way to a song rooted in their shared Liverpool beginnings. McCartney says there was a misunderstanding during the process, and Starr was reportedly 'a bit pissed' before the pair found a path forward.

He said that they made the track and sent it to him, he returned with tweaks, and eventually they had a true duet—something they had never tried before. The release is part of The Boys of Dungeon Lane, a project that nods to McCartney's formative years in Liverpool and connects it to his ongoing musical journey.
