Writing may be a lot of work, but not much when you get used to it and when you know what you want to communicate (isn’t the human communication what everyone keeps saying they miss from the 2000s)? The current AI capabilities are ill suited to writing news and editorials, it’ll probably generate fake news or at the very least, fake quotes or research. Even simple AI assisted editing will slowly botify your writing style so much that you’re indistinguishable from the next writer. Write less, but write yourself. Writing is the only fun part about the whole process of publishing, why take the fun away?

USA is not a dreamland as most of us think it to be, and you dry clothes only when Sunshine is available, and most places esp north you are devoid of it, that why it doesn't make sense to dry clothes.

Yes, identity checking needs to be secure and digitized. Although, no matter how secure things get, some scammers will find a way to use AI to do illegal things. The government just needs to be ahead of them.

Finally, someone said it. I'm tired of people talk about "vibe coding" like a real thing. My only learning from all the hype-talk is to learn even more traditional programming and rely even less on LLMs.
