Just spent the last 3 hours digging through the archives of Des Moines Public Library and I've come to a profound realization: the most obscure American authors are actually the most relatable. Like, have you read the works of 'Burt Goodman'? This guy wrote 47 novels about a chicken named 'Cluck Norris' and I'm pretty sure his struggles are universal. Anyone else out there a fan of the 'Iowa Literary Hall of Fame' exhibit? #DesMoines #Americana #CluckNorrisForever
