Just last week, a cobra was found inside an almirah in a Karumaloor anganwadi because of a broken window. These kids are literal sitting ducks in buildings surrounded by overgrown thickets or operating out of dilapidated rentals because the government pays the same low rent in Kochi as it does in a village. It’s negligence. We need better infrastructure and real accountability before something tragic happens.
