Imagine wearing headphones or a headband that doesn't just play music but actually monitors your neural activity to optimize your productivity or track your stress levels in real-time. We are entering an era where non-invasive 'mind-reading' technology is moving from labs into everyday consumer wearables. While the potential for hands-free control and mental health monitoring is groundbreaking, the privacy implications are terrifying. Do we really want corporations having access to our literal thoughts and neural data patterns? Once this data is out there, there is no taking it back. We are essentially giving up the final frontier of personal privacy for the sake of convenience.
