Converge is absolutely legendary for a reason. Most legacy bands just coast on their old hits, but these Boston hardcore pioneers are out here dropping two massive albums in one year. Love Is Not Enough was already a total masterpiece, and now they’re already teasing Hum Of Hurt just months later.
I caught the tour opener in Cleveland at the House of Blues, and the energy was unreal. They actually played a bunch of the new material, and honestly, it’s rare to be this excited for new tracks from a band that's been around this long. If the title track is any indication, this next record is going to be just as heavy and visceral as anything they’ve ever done.
