Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are officially touring as RUSH again in 2026/2027 for their "Fifty Something" tour! After Neil Peart's passing, there was a lot of talk about whether they’d ever use the name again. Geddy basically said they’re playing 40 RUSH songs a night, so why call it anything else?

They’ve brought on Anika Nilles on drums (with the Peart family’s blessing), and while it’s definitely going to be emotional and "weird" at times without Neil, they’ve been the core of this band for over 50 years - even before Neil joined. It feels right to just be who they are instead of some "Lee and Lifeson present" tribute act. Honestly, if the music is there and the heart is there, I’m all in.

It’s better than twisting into a pretzel to avoid their own legacy.

Paris Jackson just dropped 'Zombies In Love' and honestly, it’s hauntingly beautiful. Having Linda Perry, the legend from 4 Non Blondes, on production and co-writing is such a power move. You can really hear that raw, vulnerable energy Paris is known for.

She’s teasing her next big project for 2026, and apparently, the lyrics are going to be super personal, like, 'hard for some people to hear' kind of personal. I loved 'Wilted' even if it was a bit inconsistent, but this feels like she's finally finding her lane in that alt-rock space. If she keeps drawing from that deep pain and heartbreak she talks about, this next album is going to be an emotional wreck in the best way possible.

Can't wait to see her evolve past the legacy and into her own icon status.
