CJP Leader Slams Maharashtra Police Over 'Dictatorial' Protest Notices 🚨
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke criticizes Maharashtra Police for allegedly serving notices to workers ahead of an October 10 protest in Delhi. Is this an attempt to silence dissent? #FreeSpeech
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has sharply criticized the Maharashtra Police for allegedly sending notices to CJP workers, accusing them of trying to suppress a planned protest. On Tuesday, Dipke stated that workers are being pressured to avoid the October 10 protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, which calls for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Similar notices were also reportedly served in Rajasthan.
The alleged notices, issued by Chandrapur Police under Section 168 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), advise party members against participating in the protest. Dipke cited examples of notices sent to Mayur Malkhede and Raj Jaykumar Badolo from Ballarpur and Chandrapur respectively. He questioned the Maharashtra Police's involvement, asking, "Why is the Maharashtra Police behaving like Delhi Police?
What do they have to do with a person going to Delhi from Chandrapur?" Expressing his disappointment, Dipke, who initially praised Maharashtra Police as the "best force in the country," found it "heart-breaking
that the Chandrapur police issued these notices. He revealed that workers were questioned about their travel funds and that the police allegedly claimed the agitation would be
violent." Dipke challenged this, asking, "How do the police know so early that the agitation would be violent?
Have they planned anything in advance?" Dipke also took a jab at Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, suggesting he should "not disrespect and misuse the Maharashtra Police for his political ambitions" and avoid trying to be "Yogi Adityanath 2.0.
He boldly offered to be arrested and charged under UAPA and NSA himself, rather than seeing his workers harassed, humorously adding he preferred a prison in Pune. The CJP's October 10 protest at Jantar Mantar seeks criminal action against CEC Gyanesh Kumar over an undisclosed
SIR controversy." Dipke also commented on the "One Nation, One Election" slogan, asserting that its "real objective is 'one nation, one political party'." This development adds a tense layer to the political discourse ahead of the planned demonstration.
