untitled (halo) Unveils Self-Titled Debut Album & Unique Sound!

Los Angeles-based band untitled (halo) is set to drop their self-titled debut album, a project born from years navigating the city's dynamic DIY music scene. Comprised of longtime friends Ariana Mamnoon, Jack Dione, Jay Are, and Nicholas Noneman, the group formed out of a shared desire to fill a perceived void in LA's music landscape.

The album, crafted over a year in their Glassell Park studio, delves into profound themes of construction, how memories are shaped, identities are formed, and personal mythologies are built from life's fragmented pieces. The band openly shares that the writing process was a journey through heartbreak, relationship turmoil, and existential grief, experiences that ultimately shaped their distinctive sound, which they affectionately term "California Melancholia." For untitled (halo), their music is more than just sound; it's

a cry that becomes a screenshot, or a captured memory that we existed and felt real in the process of making it.

Fans can get a taste of their innovative sound with the lead single, “aimee lou wood freestyle.” The track begins with layered, processed guitars and Ariana Mamnoon's dreamy shoegaze vocals, before unexpectedly shifting gears with a detached, spaced-out rap verse that adds a compelling twist, leaving listeners intrigued by its unique blend of styles.

Following the album's release, untitled (halo) is geared up for an exciting tour schedule.

September will see them perform headline shows across Europe in Barcelona, London, Paris, and Berlin.

They'll then embark on a North American run in November, culminating with a special homecoming show right here in Los Angeles.

The album features eleven tracks including "how to make your love (stay)", "sex", and "thief", promising a deep dive into their introspective and genre-bending artistry.
