"I know you want to nudge the umpire, saying it's bad light, but you can't take your eye off the ball," Manjrekar stated, implying a lapse in concentration from the Sri Lankan batters. He further added that while Sri Lanka might have had a point about the light, it "doesn't condone the mistake that they made now." Manjrekar acknowledged Suthar's delivery that dismissed Jayasuriya as "great," a "nice variation and a superb delivery," indicating it wasn't solely the light that caused the dismissal.
