In his heartfelt message, Amaal opened up about the challenges he has faced over the years, shedding light on the complexities of his familial relationships and their impact on his mental well-being.

In his Instagram post, Amaal expressed the profound pain he has endured, stating:

I’ve reached a point where I can no longer keep silent about the pain I’ve endured. He highlighted his dedication to his craft, mentioning that he has poured his blood, sweat, and tears into creating each of the 126 melodies that have been released over the last decade.

Despite his relentless efforts, he felt undermined and questioned about his contributions.

Amaal also addressed his strained relationship with his younger brother, singer Armaan Malik, attributing the growing distance between them to their parents' actions. He wrote:

The actions of my parents have been the reason we as brothers have gone too far from one another.

The composer further elaborated on the toll these familial issues have taken on his mental health, disclosing:

I have been robbed of my peace, drained emotionally & maybe financially too. I am clinically depressed because of these happenings.

Though hours after blaming his parents for disturbing his well-being, mindset, and self-confidence, Amaal has now deleted the post.

Amaal Mallik’s mother, Jyothi Mallick, has reacted to the singer’s shocking post. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, she stated:

I don’t think you (media) need to be involved in all this. Whatever he has put is his choice. I am sorry. Thank you.
