SpaceX is absolutely wild for this. Launching two Falcon 9 rockets with Starlink satellites from opposite coasts, California and Florida, in just two days is a massive flex. On one hand, you have to respect the logistics and engineering. We are watching science fiction become an everyday reality, and global internet coverage is a huge win for remote areas. But on the other hand, how many satellites do we actually need in low Earth orbit? The night sky is getting incredibly crowded, and I feel like we aren't talking enough about the long-term impact of thousands of these things flying above us. Are we just accepting that the stars are going to be replaced by a grid of artificial lights? Still, seeing those rockets light up the coasts back-to-back is undeniably cool.
