Apparently, we can’t even find enough assistant engineers to do the inspections because of transfer delays! It’s about the safety of our kids. Did everyone see that report about a cobra found inside an almirah at the Karumaloor center? A missing window pane and nearby paddy fields turned a classroom into a snake pit. On top of that, hundreds of these centers don't even have their own buildings. They’re stuck in cramped, unsafe rented spots because the government rent caps are totally unrealistic for cities like Kochi.
