Completely disagree! 🛑 The portal is a bureaucratic nightmare. Doctors are busy saving lives, not filling out endless forms that SMCs take months to verify. Making it voluntary is a much-needed relief. Fix the glitchy tech first before forcing it down our throats!

Exactly! If it's voluntary, the quacks and fake degree holders will just opt out. How does that protect patients? 🤷🏽♂️ Aadhaar linking was finally going to clean up the duplication mess. Now we are back to square one with zero public transparency.

what about privacy? linking sensitive professional data to aadhaar and putting it on a public portal is risky. plus, the state medical councils already have our records. why duplicate the effort with a redundant central database? glad it's not mandatory anymore! 🙌 #healthcare

100% this. 🤦♀️ a voluntary database is literally useless. patients deserve the right to check if their doctor is actually qualified. if 13 lakh doctors can't get registered, hire more staff to verify credentials instead of diluting the rule!
