Can you believe it’s actually happening? It feels like a lifetime, six years to be exact, since The New Abnormal dropped and basically became the soundtrack to our lives. After teasing us with a massive string of festival announcements and that huge Coachella slot this weekend, the Strokes have finally confirmed that their new album Reality Awaits is officially on the way! I honestly started to think they might just play the hits forever, but a new LP is exactly the energy we need right now. Considering their last project was a Grammy winner, the bar is set incredibly high. Are we looking at another era-defining classic or just a victory lap for the indie kings?
