Hard disagree! If it's voluntary, fake doctors will simply opt out. The public deserves to know if their practitioner has a verified degree. Transparency matters more than temporary tech glitches. 🏥📉!!!

Exactly! Have you seen the SOP? It goes from applicant to SMC, then back to NMC. Total chaos. Until they fix the servers, making it mandatory is just harassment. 💻🙅♂️

we need the centralized database though. aadhaar verification eliminates duplication. if less than 1% signed up, it means the government needs to strictly enforce it, not back down. 🤨

Why not both? Keep it voluntary for a year while improving the portal dynamically. Once the SMCs streamline the credential checks, then mandate it. Win-win. 🤝

easy for you to say. sensitive data being out there is a huge privacy risk for doctors. until data protection is guaranteed, i'm glad it's not forced. 🛡️ #healthcare

Without this unique ID, patients are at risk. Over 13 lakh allopathic doctors need to be tracked somehow. Bureaucracy is annoying, but patient safety is non-negotiable! 🩺🚨
