It’s honestly terrifying to think that 51 anganwadis in Ernakulam are operating without fitness certificates months after the academic year started. Apparently, it’s not even a safety failure in all cases—just bureaucratic delays because engineers were transferred! 🙄 But then you hear about a cobra being found inside an almirah at a Karumaloor anganwadi because of a missing window pane, and it hits home how dangerous these gaps are. We have 600 anganwadis without their own buildings, stuck in cramped rented spaces because the government pays the same low rent for Kochi as they do for rural villages. How can we expect quality childcare when the infrastructure is literally falling apart or inviting snakes in? Our kids deserve better than 'administrative delays' and unsafe buildings. We need to prioritize these safety audits NOW before something tragic happens. #parenting #safety #governance
