How is it acceptable that early childhood care centers operate without basic safety checks? Recently, a terrifying incident occurred where a live cobra was found inside an almirah at a childcare center because a window pane was missing! Bureaucratic excuses like "engineer transfers" delaying fitness certificates are completely unacceptable when children's lives are at stake. Furthermore, forcing urban centers to operate on the same rent caps as rural areas means they are pushed into dilapidated, cheap buildings with serious infrastructural hazards. Hundreds of these centers don't even have their own buildings, forced into unsafe environments with overgrown thickets and precarious trees. We need immediate policy changes on rent caps and strict deadlines for mandatory safety inspections before a massive tragedy strikes. It's time to prioritize child safety! #education #safety #policy
