Over 50 anganwadis in our district are currently operating without any fitness certification, and the reason given is a simple administrative delay in postings. This is unacceptable! How can we wait for a tragedy to happen before acting? Just recently, a cobra was found inside a classroom cupboard: this isn't just a maintenance issue; it's a life-threatening failure of infrastructure. Hundreds of these centers don't even have their own buildings and are stuck in dilapidated rented spaces because the government’s fixed rent is too low for urban areas. We are putting toddlers in "safe spaces" that are actually death traps. We need immediate inspections and permanent buildings now.
