It’s absolutely appalling to see the state of our local anganwadis today. How can dozens of centers in a single district operate without basic fitness certificates months after the academic year has already started? We are talking about the safety of our toddlers! The excuse that assistant engineers were unavailable due to transfers is just pathetic bureaucracy. While officials play musical chairs with postings, our children are sitting in buildings with missing window panes and air holes where cobras can crawl right into their almirahs. I heard about a horrifying incident where a snake was found inside a classroom cupboard! This isn't just about paperwork; it's about life and death. If we can't provide safe, sturdy buildings and proper fencing for our future generation, what are we even doing? Fix these death traps immediately. #parenting #safety #governance

while safety is paramount, we have to look at the practical side. finding buildings in urban areas with the current fixed rent is nearly impossible. property owners won't lease good spaces for peanuts. it’s a systemic funding issue regarding urban rent limits that needs a complete overhaul, not just blaming engineers. #parenting

The rent disparity is the real killer here. Why is the rent for an urban city building the same as a rural panchayat? This policy forces anganwadis into dilapidated, unsafe structures. Unless the budget for city rentals is revised, these safety hazards will keep recurring every single year.

Actually, local bodies are doing their best with limited resources. Instead of just complaining online, maybe the community should step in and help with the cleaning and basic repairs? It takes a village to raise a child! We can't wait for a certificate to clear a bush.
