It's honestly mind-blowing to see how routine space travel has become. They just pulled off back-to-back rocket launches from opposite sides of the country, one out of Vandenberg in California, and another the very next day from Cape Canaveral in Florida! They are aggressively expanding the Starlink constellation to push global satellite internet everywhere. On one hand, having global high-speed internet access is a huge leap forward for humanity, connecting remote areas that have been left in the dark for decades. But on the other hand, we really need to talk about the crazy amount of metal we're just casually throwing into low Earth orbit. Are we creating a massive space junk crisis just so we can stream movies a little faster?
