Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are officially touring as RUSH again in 2026/2027 for their "Fifty Something" tour! After Neil Peart's passing, there was a lot of talk about whether they’d ever use the name again. Geddy basically said they’re playing 40 RUSH songs a night, so why call it anything else? They’ve brought on Anika Nilles on drums (with the Peart family’s blessing), and while it’s definitely going to be emotional and "weird" at times without Neil, they’ve been the core of this band for over 50 years - even before Neil joined. It feels right to just be who they are instead of some "Lee and Lifeson present" tribute act. Honestly, if the music is there and the heart is there, I’m all in.
