I honestly believe that parents who purchase a half-million-dollar apartment for their child, especially one who is barely even a teenager yet, are completely out of touch with the reality of today's housing market. While I understand the desire to secure a future for your offspring in an increasingly volatile economy, this level of extreme wealth display feels fundamentally wrong when so many hard-working adults cannot even afford a basic starter home. We are creating a permanent class divide where property ownership is no longer about merit or saving, but simply about which family you were born into. It ruins the incentive for the next generation to actually work for their own success.
