We finally had a platform linked to Aadhaar where any patient could verify a doctor's qualifications, specializations, and registration status. Yes, the verification process through State Medical Councils might take time, and sure, less than 1% registered so far, but the solution is to fix the tech and streamline the portal, not to make the whole thing optional! If we want real governance in modern medicine, doctors should be pushing for better IT infrastructure, not protesting to opt out of accountability.
