It's honestly terrifying that 51 anganwadis in Ernakulam still haven't received their fitness certificates months after the school year started! We're talking about toddlers here. Apparently, the delay is just because of 'missing engineers' due to transfers, but that’s no excuse for child safety.
Look at what happened in Karumaloor, a cobra was literally found inside an almirah because of a broken window! And let’s not even start on the 600 anganwadis that don't even have their own buildings. They’re stuck in cramped, low-rent spaces because the government won’t adjust rent for urban areas like Kochi.
