I honestly cannot believe Michael Carrick is starting Leny Yoro against Aston Villa today. We are fighting for crucial points in the Premier League, and putting a 20-year-old who is consistently described as being full of mistakes into the heart of the defense for such a high-stakes match feels like total tactical suicide. I know he is a young talent with high potential, but right now, we need stability and experience, not a liability who might crumble under the pressure of Villa’s high-pressing attackers at Villa Park. Every time Yoro is on the pitch, I find myself holding my breath whenever the ball goes near him. I love that Carrick trusts the youth, but there is a time and a place for development, and a must-win clash in March isn't it.
