Seriously, why do tech companies keep pushing AI features on us by default? It's beyond frustrating to constantly find new generative AI tools *enabled* in apps like Instagram, Google Docs, or LinkedIn, and then have to dig through settings just to turn them off. Remember when Meta tried to let its AI tag *anyone* on Instagram by default?
The backlash was instant and massive, forcing them to roll it back in just three days! It's clear people are sick of being forced to opt-out of sensitive features. Companies should respect user choice and make opt-in the standard, especially when it comes to AI.
