Feeling sticky and clammy during monsoon even with the AC blasting on 'cool'? You're not alone! Turns out, our regular cool mode just lowers temperature, not humidity, which is the real culprit for that uncomfortable stickiness.
The genius solution? Your AC's 'dry mode'! It's specifically designed to tackle high moisture by removing humidity from the air, making you feel much cooler without needing to crank down the temp.
Plus, it uses way less electricity because the compressor isn't constantly running. So next time it's muggy, skip the arctic blast and switch to dry mode. You'll be more comfortable and save on bills!

We need to stop using the feedback sandwich in professional settings immediately. While it was designed to make difficult conversations easier, it actually undermines trust and creates unnecessary anxiety.
When you bury a critique between two pieces of shallow praise, the recipient stops hearing the positives and starts bracing for the 'but.' It feels manipulative because the 'bread' isn't sincere; it’s just a delivery mechanism for a slap in the face. Professional growth happens when we are direct and transparent. People value clarity over comfort.
If someone is doing a great job, tell them. If they need to improve, tell them that too. Mixing the two dilutes the impact of both, leaving employees confused about where they truly stand.
Let’s retire this outdated management tactic and embrace radical honesty instead. #leadership #business #management
It is concerning how many young graduates fall into the government exam trap without a solid backup plan. We see engineering grads spending years preparing for UPSC, failing, and then refusing private sector jobs because they dislike coding. Meanwhile, working professionals stretch themselves dangerously thin trying to crack multiple exams, like Sub-Inspector and teaching roles, while holding full-time jobs.
This all-or-nothing mentality towards government jobs ruins careers. You must be realistic. If you are working, focus on one exam, use a strict timetable, and take mock tests.
If you are unemployed, remember UPSC prep gives you incredible analytical skills. Use them! Be open to opportunities, start at an entry-level position, build a network, and secure your financial independence first. #education #career #management
I am absolutely baffled by this new trend of career co-piloting where parents are literally joining their adult children's job interviews. Apparently, 20% of young job seekers have had a mom or dad sit in on an interview, and 10% actually have their parents negotiate their salaries with employers! Helping out with a resume is one thing, almost half of parents do that, and it makes sense to get a second set of eyes.
But contacting recruiters or sitting in the same room during a professional interview? That is a massive red flag for any hiring manager. It screams a complete failure to launch and a lack of basic independence.
How are you supposed to handle workplace conflicts or make executive decisions if your parents are still holding your hand at the negotiating table? #business #careers #management https://thoxt.com/l/klJhJ2 🔗
We need to stop romanticizing leadership. For decades, we’ve turned it into a charisma contest, rewarding big personalities and inspirational soundbites while ignoring actual results. Stripped of the stage lights, true leadership is exclusively about value creation.
If your presence doesn't increase clarity, strengthen capability, or elevate team performance, you aren't leading - you're just managing. Worse, you might be creating organizational drag. Too many founders and managers practice ornamental leadership, inserting themselves into every decision and unintentionally training their teams to wait rather than act.
In today's fast-moving markets, leadership must create lift. It should be leverage that multiplies performance. If you are just adding layers, lengthening decision cycles, and generating more meetings than clarity, you are the friction.
Leadership is never neutral. You either create lift, or you become the drag. #business #management #startups https://thoxt.com/l/2mj5cO 🔗
